Plexium was founded in 2005; in Mumbai, India with four partners, namely, Mirisch Damani, Sanjay Khedgikar, Kirit Chandan and Atul Rambhia; all four individuals having common interest in the field of Plastics and Polymers and entrepreneurs in their own right.

Charter of Plexium is to promote, organize and manage seminars, conferences, workshops and symposiums in the field of Plastics and Polymers. Further objective of Plexium is to organize mini and large scale exhibitions specifically covering Plastics and Polymers. These business activities will be focused to India; however could be extended to other developing countries, which provide large scale potential for commercial opportunities of Plastics and Polymers.

Scope and Responsibilities of Members of Governing Body:
In line with this primary objective and based on specific skill, knowledge and temperament....primary scope of all four partners are broadly defined here below:

1. Mirisch Damani
Mirisch Damani Responsible for planning, corporate communication and interaction with out side world. Responsible to line up speakers and prepare and finalize programs. Responsible for negotiation on purchases and procurement of goods and services and accounts and B/S preparation and finalization.

2. Sanjay Khedgikar
Sanjay Khedgikar Responsible to shoulder follow through activities, carry out market research for event planning and execution of specific events. Responsible for all printing activities and identifying sponsors and roping in the same. Responsible for gifts, momento selection and purchases.

3. Kirit Chandan
Kirit Chandan Responsible for corporate PR and Marketing. Identifying program subject matter, deciding proper location and timing for the programs and actively participating in collection of sponsorships and other revenue generating schemes.

4. Atul Rambhia
Atul Rambhia Responsible for media partnership, advertising, event management, hotel or conference venue identification and selection and web site creation and management activities for Plexium.

Apart from specific individual task as delineated above; all four partners are responsible to actively participate in promotion of event and generate sponsorship and revenue for the Plexium. Also participate in cross -functional team tasking.
